A Different Composition

I couldn’t help it, I was bored to death. I mean, I love teaching, but when you spend two hours reading the dullest, clumsiest, worst-written compositions, you can’t help but feel that you’re wasting your time miserably. To make things worse, my class was away, on some picnic. So, while they were outside, having fun, I was alone in the classroom listening to nothing but the sound of my red pencil doing corrections on the paper. I wanted to find a different composition, and I did.

I yawned loudly, and the notebook I was working on fell on the floor. When I picked it up, it was open on the last pages. I saw some drawings that immediately called my attention. They showed a woman being tied with ropes. I knew exactly what it was: it was Shibari. And I knew it because, apart from being a sweet, responsible, 9th grade teacher, I’m also a passionate Shibari bottom. Actually, I practice at least twice a month with a professional rigger, and I’m available as a professional partner for performances, photoshoots, and workshops.

I felt intrigued. The drawings, although in the context of some superhero story, showed a Shibari scene, suspension included. To make things more exciting, the woman in the drawings looked very much like me. And yes, I said “exciting” because, by this time, I was bored no more.

I saw the cover of the notebook. It was Michael Riviera’s. And, if you paid attention, the man in the scene was an adult, very muscular version of Michael. So, did I have a student that had sexy Shibari fantasies about me? The very thought of it made me smile. I didn’t feel uncomfortable, not at all. I mean, let’s be honest: you can’t expect a fourteen-year-old not to have fantasies, and they usually star someone they know: a classmate, a relative, or, as in this case, a teacher. As a kinky person, I am way more open to acknowledge things as they are. Besides, there wasn’t anything sexual In the drawings. It was just a Shibari scene with a touch of domination. A different composition, but also a nice detail.

I wondered if Michael had seen me. Not in the shows, of course. They wouldn’t let him in. But there might be a video with me that I wasn’t aware of, posted somewhere on the Internet. Maybe, I should wear a mask from now on.

Anyway, Michael got a ten in his composition, and I shook the boredom away.

This is my Shibari story.
