Rope Fest

Rope Fest is the first Russian Shibari Festival in St. Petersburg organized by ArtCo creative union since 2012. It is a festival about the Japanese art of bondage, both Shibari and Kinbaku. Rope Fest is an event for both true connoisseurs and those taking their first steps in this practice. It has become a unique event in the cultural life of St.Petersburg. This festival has been going on for 8 years and has become very famous and recognized in the Rope Bondage community.

Rope Fest’s main purpose is to develop a culture of understanding of the Japanese technique of Shibari or Kinbaku. Likewise, it aims to strengthen the community of lovers of this art. The festival’s peculiarity is that it is a living space where you can see a variety of emotions, communicate with like-minded people, find new friends, learn and share your experiences.

Rope Fest St.Petersburg is supported by Shibari Club Yugen, Shibari School RopeSchool, and Shibari rope RopeShop. Guru and KinkAfisha.ru. The festival consists of 3 days where you will enjoy 6 performances per day, a lot of space and time for communication with other participants, seminars and intrafestival events. You will also find interactive spaces and the traditional mini-events “Escape from captivity”, megaropejam and art installation. During the festival, there will also be a photo exhibition of the winners of the Captive Beauty competition.

Rope fest has 3 types of tickets for the festival: daytime ticket which includes one day of the event including the evening, subscription, that includes the three days of the festival including the evening, and evening tickets, which include entrance from 18:30 pm. The price of the tickets is between 800 rubles to 3000 rubles, and they are cheaper on pre-sale.
