Tantric Shibari

Tantric Shibari is a Dojo in Copenhagen, Denmark with a delicate interplay of Japanese Bondage and Guided Tantric Breathin. Tantric Shibari was founded by Charlotte, who was raised in a multi-cultural family. She had a successful business career, but decided that working from 9 to 5 did not make her happy. So she decided to study and combine psychology, sexuality, healing of trauma, tantra, BDSM and Shibari.

Charlotte has 15 years of experience studying sexual relationships. She has focused on the power exchange involved, as is the case in Shibari and domination. Her main goal is to share what she has learned and to show other people the importance of accepting your sexuality, no matter how alternative it may be. She began practicing and learning Shibari in 2010. After several years, she began giving lessons, workshops and sharing her experience and knowledge with others.

Tantric Shibari Dojo is a small dojo that consists of two two rig rings and two posts. This is where the teaching takes place on these tools. The classes are “private”, since the dojo only allows two tie pairs. This makes the lessons much more personalized than in other dojos.

Charlotte teaches in Denmark and abroad, she does not tie specific styles and works with a variety of styles including Riccardo, Naka, Gorgone, Kinoko and Osada Steve. Tying in several styles makes it more suitable for each kind of body, which also depends on the effect she wants to evoke to the person in ropes. Tantric Shibari Dojo also hosts the Tuesday night Kinbaku Lounge, which is the worlds largest rope association, where you can exchange experiences with more rope enthusiasts, talk, tie or watch other tying.
