The Kinbaku Society of Berlin
The Kinbaku society of Berlin is the forum for a group of enthusiastic and creative people who gather together to study the art of Kinbaku and the eroticism connected to it. This group is of different ages, genders and nationalities, but they all live in Berlin and share the love of Kinbaku.
The Kinbaku Society of Berlin is a group that studies the historical and contemporary Japanese concepts of beauty, translating them into the European culture in order to create an original expression of Kinbaku. This group respects the Japanese origin of Kinbaku and transforms it into its own style, without appropriating the Original Kinbaku. They share their studies about Kinbaku in a print magazine.
Kinbaku means “tight binding”, and it refers to erotic bondage. This group produces magazines 4 times a year, in March, June, September and December.
The magazine might include themes and topics around the darker aspects of sexuality, kink and psychology, ethical pornography and censorship, beauty and the perception of it affected by the individual culture, as well as the human desire of living and knowing that suffering and death exist. This magazine is in English, although there are several translations available. The “featured artist” part, however, aims for exclusive publication in English.
This magazine asks for a donation of a minimum of 10 euro plus shipping cost. The orders take place via email and they will provide a pay pal link for payment. The magazines will be delivered in an envelope directly to the address provided once the payment is done. They also provide international shipping for the magazine.
