Bones and Rope
Fred Hatt and Anna are two London based Shiabri artists. Together, they founded Bones and Rope, which is one of the most important Shibari studios in the UK.
Bones and Ropes is a webpage where you find everything about rope. Fred and Anna do Shibari for fashion shoots, music videos, and creative projects. Likewise, they also do live performances, installation projects, workshop, classes and more.
Bones and Rope offers a style that is compassionate, approachable and extremely detailed. This is is perfect for all kinds of rope lovers. They are both academics and teachers, so their approach and love for the rope has a lot of intellectual curiosity. They believe that there is a creative process behind the mechanics between the rope and the body.
Fred and Anna have been tying together since 2013. They teach and perform together inside the United Kingdom and have participated in Place des Cordes, BED, Shibaricamp, EURIX, BOUND, TWISTED and much more events.
In Bones and Rope, you will find the amazing portfolio of their different performances, rope installations, and creative outside the box projects that push the boundaries and perceptions of rope and Shibari. You will find videos, photoshoots, collaborations and more.
Bones and Rope also offer private tuition at Anatomie Studio. Classes start from the beginner’s technics and basics of rope bondage to advanced suspension techniques for both bottoms and tops, as well as individual or group lessons. Rigging for photoshoots and other projects is also available. In both rigging and lessons Bones and Rope provides its own materials and rope for health and safety reasons. In the case of rigging outside the studio, the beams and points must be structural and rated, and if they decide the suspension point is not safe, they will not do any suspension.
