Super Tuesday Shibari

Super Tuesday Shibari

The most popular social media platforms fell offline one after the other on this year’s Super Tuesday. For many, it was a boring morning, where they experienced the symptoms of abstinence from the most common addiction of our time—social media. For me, it was the opportunity to discover Super Tuesday Shibari. Let me tell you about it.

My name is Christina. I’m 27 and I was sick at home. As you can imagine, I was bored to tears after spending several hours in bed and having nothing to do but endlessly scroll through my social media profiles.

And then, the platforms started falling one after the other. I always hate it when that happens. But when it means not only that I can’t communicate with my friends but that there is nothing to distract me, that makes it ten times worse.

I got up from bed, and started walking around with no clear purpose. I thought I might as well do some housework. And I decided to arrange the closet. You know, perhaps following the advice of Marie Kondo or something like that.

That’s when I found the ropes. You see, I have a roomie, and she likes bondage. She had told me something about rope games, but I didn’t pay much attention, to be honest. However, this was the perfect opportunity to find out what it is like to be all tied up.

I called my friend Bellows. (His name is Willibald, but he doesn’t like it, so we call him Bellows.) Bellows is a naughty boy, so he understands how this stuff works.

In a matter of minutes, he was at the apartment, explaining to me what Shibari is all about. We did a quick scene—something simple, really. And I must say I enjoyed it so much that, next week, with or without social media, we will do another one.

And that’s how I ended up having a Shibari Super Tuesday.
