Chiral Shibari
Chiral Shibari started in rope thanks to her partner. At first, Chiral tied her partner. However, she didn’t enjoy rope until she played bottom. When Chiral was tied for the first time, she felt the connection and understood the amazing experience behind Shibari.
After attending some courses and learning Shibari, Chiral became a teacher and performer. Chiral became one of the most recognized rope experts in Atlanta. She is also one of the founders of Rope Bite Atlanta. The style of the rope she likes the most is the rope of sensuality. When she started in the world of Shibari, she was first seen as a fluffy top. This was because she was very delicate and tied in a slow and delicate way in order not to harm her bottoms. However, as her experience and understanding of rope grew, she got more confidence.
With practice and knowledge, Chiral began to transmit her vision of Shibari. For her, the rope is not only a way to push your physical limits as a bottom or to build something beautiful as a top, but an art form.
Chiral’s goal in Shibari is to “create a world of two people through the process of communications. She sees bondage as a celebration of the work that both the bottom and the top share during the scene. Likewise, she truly believes that both rope top and bottom share the journey. For her, both participants are indispensable and share the same importance in a scene. Whether you are a top or a bottom, the vulnerability of the bottom will create a vulnerability to the top of the other way around, if the bottom doesn’t feel safe, the top won’t be able to work with confidence. Shibari, Kinbaku or Rope Bondage is definitely a practice that needs great communication and trust between partners in order to work.
