Master Yoy

Master Yoy is a 52 years old Shibari artist. He’s a dominant, sadistic and heterosexual practitioner who was born in Sao Paolo, Brazil. His name, Master YoY, comes from the Ying Yang and the “O” from his real name.

Master Yoy is a lover of BDSM, which provokes a certain excitement in him. It all started at the age of 12 when he saw the film “O Péndulo e poço”. He reacted in a pleasant way to the scene of the women trapped under the pendulum. After that he tried to continue with his normal life, but with a little more aggressive and spontaneous sexual side. When he was 29, he felt the need to control his impulse so he decided to learn the SSC-Sao Seguro Consensual, and there is when it all began.

In 2000, he decided to go to the Valhalla, the first house dedicated to the BDSM community in South America, which had just opened. There he met Barbara Reine, his mentor, which whom he has a strong friendship.  In 2007, he met her slave and wife.

Master Yoy knew very little about BDSM practices, but his favourite practice was always bondage. His first contact with Shibari was when Barbara Reine asked if he would like to learn Shibari and then help to propagate this art. After months and years of practice, he started doing workshops and publicizing Shibari and created the first Shibari dictionary.

In 2004 Master Yoy made the first public suspension at the 24/7 meeting organized by Club Dominga da Topazio. At that time Shibari was totally unknown in Brazil, so he registered the domain shibari.com.br
Master YoY believes that being a dominator does not stop him from being a gentleman, and if the woman is a mystery, the submissive is their Universe.
