Studio Friction
Studio Friction is a studio in Denver, which is home to rope and aerial art. It was founded by three people of the Denver community, Mary, Diana, and Nate. The three of them have been practicing rope for decades. Nate has been teaching and attending classes and events in recent years. Mary has participated in startup and business events around Denver. Diana participates in performances and events around town. The three together are a great team, who founded Studio Friction, which is a nonprofit social club in Colorado.
Studio Friction aims to create a perfect and safe place for all the rope lovers and aerial art practitioners. Likewise, it aspires to create a culture that is collaborative creative, inclusive, and fundamentally workable. In sum, the idea of Studio Friction is to be an open space where emotions and opinions run high. Moreover, it wants to be a place where everyone can practice, learn and share.
Studio Friction is a rope and aerial non-normative welcoming and modern environment for learning, exploring, practicing, playing, and performing. Here, you can develop new awareness and improve your rope technique. Additionally, you can engage the body, mind, and emotions in an incredible rope community.
Studio Friction offers workshops, performances, and parties. In order to participate, you need to be a member. It offers 3 memberships: Wrapped, Tied, and Bound. The Wrapped Membership gives you access to all open labs, classes, workshops, and parties by paying the standard member price. The Tied Membership, on the other hand, has a few more benefits, it includes all weekly open labs and the 3rd Friday party. Finally, the Bound membership gets all the benefits of the Tied membership plus free admission into all studio-sponsored open labs, monthly parties, and more. Bound members also receive discounts for classes and workshops.
