Shibari Salon

Shibari Salon is a place for connecting with the art of condage in a quiet and peaceful environment. It is perfect for meeting new people with your same interests, practicing, learning and sharing experiences. Its founder is Jane, whose passion for bondage started in 2011. When she was bounded for the first time she began a new journey, both physically and mentally. Moreover, she felt liberated. After her first bound, she had satisfaction and energy from Shibari so she wanted to share that with everyone. Jane began learning everything about Shibari, about safety, basic knots, rope types, communication and connection. She took lessons with several European riggers including Wildties, Pedro, Gorgone, Barkas, ButterflyBondage and Master Osada Steve.

Jane’s style has developed from soft to firm and rough. However, she always uses rope as a connection between the soul and emotions. She is very strict and takes special care in boundaries and safety, as well as in good communication during a Shibari scene. Jane also believes that a Shibari experience gives increased levels of endorphins and other hormones, where you can create a trance-like experience for the model and an adrenaline rush for the rigger. When aShibari is successful, the feelings of satisfaction in both rigger and model are visible in their faces. This makes a scene more special and aesthetically beautiful.

 In Shibari Salon, you will also find rope and accessories for sale. They also have available soft smooth 5mm plastic ops which look like real burlap. You will also find braided cotton 6mm in black or red with a white cotton core, this type of rope is very strong and is suitable for decorative and functional bondage. Hemp rope 5mm is also available in Shibari Salon.
