SUB ROSA is the brainchild of Mistress Viola and Princessa Natasha Strange, two professional dominants with a passion for building community. It is located in Portland, Oregon, and it is the only femme-owned fetish space. It offers kink education, one on one coaching, sexual empowerment classes. Likewise, it offers boudoir and fetish photography, intimate play parties, and private rentals in their beautiful play space.

SUB ROSA in Latin, translates to “under the rose”, which denotes secrecy and confidentiality. It also makes reference to Portland’s nickname, “The City of Roses “. SUB ROSA’s purpose is to create a community and space where kinksters can practice, learn and share their experiences. Their goal was to create a safe and welcoming environment for the Portland Community. Here, you will be able to expand your skills and find transformation and confidence through BDSM. You will also be part of the community.

SUB ROSA has a great passion for building community and creating safe spaces to learn. Consequently, they usually organize monthly classes, workshops and events in Portland. All the events, classes and workshops require pre-registration and are invite-only, which means that you need to get an invite from someone in order to assist. Due to Covid -19, all classes and events are virtual, until it is safe to gather in person.

SUB ROSA also has available private rentals, which is perfect for kinks looking for a more discrete option. Both Mistress Viola and Natasha Strange also offer private play sessions as well as coaching for both couples and individuals. Coaching rates are $200 USD per hour and are education and skills-focused, without power exchange. The Session Play rates are $300 USD an hour and are more about fantasy explorations and fulfilment, with power exchange, role play and require fetishwear.
