Morpheus Bondage Extravaganza

Morpheus Bondage Extravaganza

Morpheus Bondage Extravaganza, also known as MBE,  is an annual rope bondage art installation. It has grown over the years into the world’s largest public rope bondage event.

MBE began in Toronto Canada, in 2007 as a very small event which has expanded year to year. When it started in 2007, the MBE was so small that it took place in the store of a friend. In 2012 Morpheus Bondage Extravaganza became international. In that year, the MBE became very popular and reached an audience of 75 thousand online viewers. Then, in 2014 MBE began spreading across North America. Over the next 2 years, spread 10 major international cities in 6 different countries around the globe.

This event has grown to a 4,000 square foot venue in Toronto. There is a live stream which reaches cities like Sydney, Rio de Janeiro, Manila, San Francisco, Cincinnati, Montreal, Vienna, Orlando. It has also recently expanded to include an MBE in Orlando, Florida and San Francisco, California. Morpheus Bondage Extravaganza has grown over the years and has attracted around 6000 attendees across the three cities with a number of 75,000 watching online. Morpheus Bondage Extravaganza was created by Lord Morpheus, who is a Canadian sex educator and photographer based in New York. He has taught several workshops of Shibari, Fetish Photography, Aesthetics of Bondage.

Morpheus Bondage Extravaganza is an advent that features 12 hours of Rope Bondage or Shibari art that includes simple bondage performed on the floor to aerial suspensions, which brings hundreds of performers together from all over the world to a sleepless night of rope bondage. During the MBE views witnessed over 250 individual performances happening non-stop at each venue.

The MBE is a great event for beginners and people who are thinking about getting into Shibari or Rope bondage to attend. There is no nudity in the event, so it is great for those who are not comfortable seeing naked bodies wrapped in rope. This also helps you focus on the rope and not in the naked bodies. It is a private event, which encourages you t wear masks id you have privacy concerns.
