Bondage Scene in a Film
I was excited. I mean, finally there was going to be a bondage scene in a film! To make things even better, I was the one chosen to do it. So far, Hollywood has been too prudish about certain things. I mean, there was a point in the late 80s and early 90s when it seemed that sexuality was finally going to have a respectful place on the screen. But now, with all the political correctness craze and the cancellation obsession, it seems like we’re going back to the 50s.
The story goes like this. I’m a body double, not for stunts, but for sex scenes. You might have thought you saw your favorite star, when it was actually my body you were watching. Anyway, the point is that I was hired to do a bondage scene.
Now, that made me happy because I’ve loved bondage for years. I think it’s sexy and exciting. And I wonder how something so great can start with something as simple as a rope.
I showed up very early at the studio to get my dressing and my makeup done. To make things better, the body double for the male protagonist was a very sweet person and we immediately felt comfortable with each other (you know how important it is to have a positive emotional bond during a scene).
We did the shots, and it was great! We went to a bar and had a few drinks in celebration of our success, and for bondage entering the biggest film industry in the world.
You can imagine my disappointment when I attended the premiere of the movie and found out that they had cut out the complete scene. I try to understand, but I swear I still can’t get it. Why do filmmakers reject something that is so beautiful and sexy?
Maybe next time. I’m sure we’ll see a bondage scene in a film some day.
This is my Shibari story.
