Doms vs Switch vs Sub is a very common language in BDSM. Dom, Domme, Dominant, Master, mistress, Owner Top, basically refers to the person who exerts control in a power exchange relationship. Sub, submissive, slave, pet, Botton, refers to the person that gives over control to the D-type or receives whatever the D-type gives. Switch, refers to someone that likes to top and bottom or who is both Dominant and Submissive roles, usually depending on the energy of the other person. They can be a top or a bottom depending on the circumstances and their partner.
