Morikai Studio

Located in the Montefiore neighborhood in Tel Aviv, in Israel, Morikai Studio was founded in 2018. A group of Shibari enthusiasts from the BDSM and kink community decided to create a friendly space for anyone to share their knowledge in Shibari. It was a place to teach and be taught, and practice, together.

Since its inauguration, Morikai Studio has been growing fast. Well accepted by the Israeli fetish community, it offers plenty of workshops and has welcomed more than a thousand visitors over the past few years.

The mission of Morikai Studio

According to the philosophy of Morikai Studio, Shibari is an integral part of BDSM, bondage and intimacy. Therefore, its mission is to provide a safe and pleasant space for those riggers and models new to Shibari who wish to learn and practice, focusing on the passionate side of Shibari.

What will you find in Malakai Studio?

Malakai Studio offers lessons and workshops for all levels, from the basics of Shibari to a close study of the jute rope fibers used to tie your partners up. Like any other healthy sexual activity, Shibari requires consent and a deep technical and physiological understanding to avoid any injuries, as well as preliminary communication and transparency throughout the whole process.

In short, Malakai Studio is the perfect place to discover the world of Shibari. Guided by passionate professionals, newcomers can learn everything they need to start practicing this art.

Other Events

There are 4 main types of events at Malakai Studio: Wild Thursdays, Open Jams, Kinbaku Show Night and Public Sessions. These are perfect to meet others with the same kinky preferences as you in a more relaxed and learning environment.

In some of the events, you will be able to practice what you have learned in class with different partners. Although there is no dress code for the Malakai Studio events, it is recommended to wear comfortable clothing if you’re getting tied up.
