Rope Jam Session Milan is a 6-hour event similar to events held in Japan. It takes place every 2 months. Rope Tales is the organizer. The hosts are Kirigami and Tenshiko, who are active performers in Italy and in Europe. Rope Jam Session Milan’s main purpose is to gather a respectful and welcoming community. Likewise, it is a place where people can get together, talk, share, and learn about Shibari.

Rope Jam Session Milan takes place in a big, bright space, with mats and suspension points around. You wil also find a big area for gatherings, with comfortable seats, books, computers for research, and a buffet. The event follows the traditional Japanese way of learning, which is through observation. This way, you will be able to enjoy performances as well as Kirigami and Toshiko’s teachings.
Rope Jam Session Milan is the perfect place to share with other practitioners your passion for rope, where you will be able to learn, talk about bondage, tie, watch other people tying, and socialize with other Kinbaku and Shibari enthusiasts and lovers of this practice. It is also the perfect place to share and exchange knowledge and share experiences about Kinbaku and Japan in general.

Rope Jam Sessions require comfortable clothes to traditional Japanese garments or other dress codes inspired by Japanese culture, the only request is that your clothing allows you to enjoy the event and the ropes without any problem. Nudity is only allowed during the Shibari or Kinbaku session. During the event dressing is mandatory. You can bring your own rope to tie, or rent a set of ropes for 5 euros. For suspension, one ring and bamboo will be available, but if you would like to use carabiners you need to bring your own.
