Shibari Club Latin America
Shibari Club Latin America aims to combine different techniques and Practitioners of Kinbaku. Likewise, it looks forward to share with the Latino community their knowledge of Shibari. Its founder is Emmanuel Cuervo.
Shibari Club Latin America is a community of rope lovers and practitioners around Latin America. This community has several places around Latin America where practitioners can gather and share their knowledge and experiences.
Shibari Club Latin America is lead by different Shibari practitioners and masters around Latinamerica. Some of the Directors of this community are Emmanuel Cuervo (Mexico), Pablo Jimenez (Colombia), and Luis Carlos Nunes Ferraz (Brasil). Emmanuel Cuervo is a Shibari practitioner since 2016 in Mexico City, where he gives workshops, classes, and collaborates in projects of video and photography as well as performance.
He is the coordinator of Colectivo Encadenarte and organizer of the Anual Event Cultural Week of BDSM. Pablo Jimenez is a Colombian rigger who found passion, pleasure and perversion in rope. He shares his knowledge with bondage practitioners and lovers in workshops, talks, performances. He has known for his performances in public spaces as well as the Bondage picnic in Bogota. Luis Carlos Nunes is a Shibari practitioner since 2008 and founder of ArteShibari Brasil. He is a rigger and Shibari educator that has given more than 50 workshops.
The objective of Shibari Club Latin America is to share and teach different techniques and styles of bondage in the community, as well as to gather Shibari and Kinbaku practitioners and grow the community, so the community gets recognized around the world and people can learn, teach, share experiences and practice along with the community in Latin America, no matter where are you from. The idea is to unite the different styles and practitioners and work together so Shibari gets Worldwide recognition and acceptance.
