Shibari Kinnawa Dojo
Shibari Kinnawa Dojo is a dojo in Mexico. It is the only dojo especially devoted to Shibari in Mexico. Here, you can practice and learn Shibari in a safe and professional place with a secure and respectful ambience.
Kinnawa comes from Kanji Ki, which means gold, and Nawa, which means rope in Japanese. Together they create the concept Kinnawa, which means golden rope. Kinnawa Dojo expresses the commitment to teach in their name, where they use the golden rope to be able to communicate sensations, emotions, passion, and feelings.
In this dojo, they believe that you must give yourself completely to be successful in this crazy world, in which passion is the clue to succeed, and where your personality, sensuality, and heart play a very important role in want you do. All these elements led to the creation of Shibari Kinnawa Dojo. The dojo is a safe and non-judgmental space, where you will be able to learn and practice the beautiful art of Shibari.
Shibari Kinnawa Dojo invites you to explore Shibari and to learn what inspired them to create this space. You will also learn what the team is passionate about, and perhaps you will discover your passion.
In Shibari Kinnawa Dojo you will learn the basics of Shibari/Kinbaku. They have 3 different workshops, The first module, which is the Initiation to Shibari, where you will learn the basics of Shibari. It is a 6-hour workshop; classes last one and a half hours per week. You can also try a 2-hour rope session. In this one, you will play bottom for a rigger from the team and will enjoy a unique sensorial experience!
Shibari Kinnawa Dojo also offers performance services for private events, videos, photoshoots, or private classes.
