Prague Shibari Festival
Prague Shibari Festival is an annual event happening in the heart of Europe since 2016 organized by Peter Soptik. This festival is a three-day event that is safe and inclusive for everyone who enjoys ropes. It is an event where you can learn, enjoy and meet new people. The venue is almost in the centre of Prague, and it is easily reachable by public transport.
Although the Prague Shibari Festival refers to the traditional Japanese Bondage, it is also open to other forms of Shibari. The festival offers a great variety of presenters and workshops with a diversity of topics.
This Shibari festival welcomes everyone interested in ropes, whether you see ropes only as an art form, a way of communication, a place to relax, to reconnect with yourself and with your partner, as a tool of power exchange, just as a one time experience, to learn, or just for fun.
In this festival, you will find classes, workshops, Bondage jam, performances, and parties. In the festival you will meet new people, you will learn new bondage techniques and different bondage styles.
Like every other event, it has its rules. Some of the rules of this festival are: personal responsibility and common sense is the main rule of this event, but other rules as respect to other people, to notify to the staff immediately if something inappropriate is happening, wristbands are required to be always worn in the event space, no pictures or videos of others without consent are allowed, the staff members may take pictures or videos for future promotion or workshops evaluation, but no picture or video with a recognizable face will be ever published without consent. , shoes, drinks, food and sharp objects are not allowed in Space A, and tickets and wristbands are non-transferable are some of the event rules.
