Blind Rigger

Blind Rigger

Shibari is a matter of touch. That’s the lesson I learned from Alan, the blind rigger. I’m a journalist, but not the kind you’re thinking of. My specialty is finance and international trade. Sounds quite boring, doesn’t it? Well, it is. That’s why I balance my life with a nice dose of kink. I’m into nylon, high heels, and elegant lingerie. I like handcuffs and ropes. And, as for men, ties and cufflinks turn me on (and, luckily, many executives wear them.)

Anyway, I was covering the most boring financial congress, so I decided to reward myself and go to a kinky club that night. All the performances were very high quality, and the drinks were great, too. But the main attraction was something totally unexpected: a blind rigger.

At the beginning, the man took off his shades so we all could see he really was blind. Then, he began by doing some simple knots. It only took him a few seconds. Gradually, he embarked on more and more complicated tasks. He finished by doing a full suspension in less than 15 minutes. Not only that, he added some torches as part of the scenery. And not once did he make a mistake.

He then asked for a volunteer – and chose me. I have long legs, so I’m used to grabbing every man’s attention, but I wondered how I had attracted him. He cleared my doubts when he said he had chosen me because of the perfume I was wearing. That was flattering!

He didn’t know my body as well as he knew the model’s, so I thought he would take longer with me. I was wrong! I had a chest harness around me in a matter of seconds. And I swear his touch felt different. I don’t know how to explain it, but there was something about his fingers… I can’t find the words.

All I can say is that he was right: Shibari is a matter of touch.

This is my Shibari story.
