Everything You Didn’t Expect
I’m everything you didn’t expect. I play soccer. Actually, I’m a forward. So far, I have scored 36 goals in 3 seasons, which is not bad. Additionally, I’m a rigger. And I take turns tying my boyfriend, and my girlfriend, up (did I mention I’m polyamorous?.)
You see, I have a thing against gender roles. Indeed, I hate gender roles. For me, they are the ultimate prison because they seem so harmless. Therefore, tell me what you expect from a girl and I’ll do the exact opposite.
That’s why I became kink. I didn’t want to be the nice, pretty girlfriend who melts down because you brought her flowers, and whom you take to the movies to explore underneath her clothes. I’m kink. And if I live long enough, I’d like to try everything.
I love bondage. I have to admit that, a few years ago, people were more surprised to see a female rigger. Nowadays, it’s more accepted. About damn time!
I like to do difficult scenes and try new knots. It takes time, money, and a lot of effort, but, when I hear someone say they never thought a girl could do it, it’s all worth it.
I must say I find Shibari quite positive. There’s no room for the passive, stupid, oppressed woman here. Quite the opposite. Here, women are encouraged to speak their fantasies out loud and to play their scenes just the way they want it with whomever they want. And consent keeps the predators and the jerks away.
I like the fact that something that was originally so violent, like restraint, can become an art form, and a means to express emotions. If we could do that with all the violence that surrounds us, things would go a whole lot better, there’s no doubt in my mind.
So, take a rope and break free!
This is my Shibari story.
