Shibari Is a Great Gift
What can I buy for Richard? I never know. It’s always the same story. I know he loves Star Trek; he must be in the top ten of the all-time greatest fans of the series. And he’s not the typical nerdy, obsessed, awkward kinda trekker. Oh no! He’s an intelligent, handsome, sociable young man. I would have never known that Shibari is a great gift for him.
I tried to give him something very special related to the series. And, I failed three times in a row. It turned out that, no matter how hard I looked for the ultimate, impossible to find, Star Trek item, he already has it. He’s too nice to show his disappointment, but I know I missed the shot, and that makes me feel really bad. Especially, because he always gets it right when it comes to my gifts.
During the pandemic, we explored new options for our quality time together, and we discovered Shibari. We have done a few scenes and taken a couple workshops online. And, as far as I can tell, we both have enjoyed it.
So, for his birthday this year, I prepared something very special for him. I didn’t tell him anything in advance. I just sent him a message asking him to please come to a specific address, at a certain hour. He’s very punctual, so I know he would be there right on time.
When we arrived, he found a very well-made Star Trek scenery on the stage. At the center was an alien plant, and I was trapped inside of it. Actually, I was tied Shibari style. Also, I was wearing a very sexy cosplay outfit. Additionally, there was a special-edition uniform waiting for him. The Shibari master agreed to play the part of a mentor, who would guide him so that he could save me.
We played out the scene, and it was wonderful. I could see the joy in his eyes. And this was something he had never done before.
In the end, I congratulated for having used all the emotional power of Shibari to create a wonderful experience for the man I love. Shibari is a great gift, for sure.
This is my Shibari story.
