Shibari Is not Humiliating
It was awful. I thought it was normal. And I thought everybody did it. Damn! I should have thought twice. Had I know Shibari is not humiliating, it would have saved me a lot of trouble.
My girlfriend and I went to a hotel to have some quality time together. While she was getting comfortable in the bathroom, I turned on the TV, and tuned in the first erotic channel I found. However, it turned out it wasn’t erotic. It was porn. Gross, loud porn. My girlfriend hated it. She called me a pervert and refused to be with me. It was a complete waste of time and money. Moreover, it made me look like a creep and a jerk, two for the price of one. It was a disaster!
I decided to never again do what everybody else does. More importantly, I had to do something to redeem myself. I saved money for another special occasion, and I began searching for something that, instead of making her go away, actually brought her to me in the right mood.
I have a confession: I need a turn on. For some reason, if I don’t find some kind of “inspiration”, I just can’t… perform. Usually, a couple of pictures of girls in lingerie do the trick. But I didn’t want to be doing something that would look stupid or weird. Being called a “pervert” once is enough for me.
After a long search, I found Shibari, and I thought it was perfect! Here was something that was artistic, beautiful, elegant, and sexy. Not to mention it did the job quite well. Just remembering the scenes I saw on the Internet made me totally horny.
So, on our next special date, I showed her what I had found. She totally loved it! She said that the reason she hated porn is because she found it humiliating for women. Shibari, on the other hand, is not humiliating at all. It is an art form, and “a bond between lovers” (I loved it when she said that). She even asked if I could get some ropes for our next special occasion!
This is my Shibari story.
