Shibari in Zero Gravity
I like Ian. He’s all you can expect from a millionaire with no boundaries. He likes fast cars, big yachts, and private jets. And he also likes women. That’s why he’s always surrounded by a dozen models, at least. I have the privilege of being one of his models —he calls us his “muses”—. Now, I have experienced a lot of things with Ian, some sexy, some wild, some even gross. But I had never experienced Shibari in zero gravity, and it was wild!
Ian is no stranger to Shibari. Actually, he has a huge warehouse, where he set up a studio, with full equipment. Sometimes, we spend a weekend doing suspensions there. He also has what he calls “The Velvet Room” in one of his mansions. There he does a more intimate kind of Shibari with those who are his friends, beside his models. He even has a rope studio in his big yacht. But when he came up with the idea of doing Shibari in a plane, in order to experience zero gravity, it was a surprise.
Ian rented one of these big planes, which they use to make you feel what an astronaut feels in the absence of gravity. You know, the plane flies horizontally, and then it goes down quickly. It feels horrible on your stomach, but that’s when you float as if there were no gravity.
So, Ian tied us (there were six of us) and when the plane descended, we floated. I saw the video, and we looked like cocoons. More importantly, this was the truest form of suspension, for there isn’t anything, not a rope or a pole, attaching you to the floor. I felt afraid, at first, because you have absolutely no control over yourself, and you can crash anywhere. But Ian is a great rigger, and he managed to keep all of us safe and happy.
By the time we landed, I wanted to take another flight and do it all over again.
This is my Shibari story.
