Ceci Ferox

Ceci Ferox is a sexologist, kink activist, performer, teacher and rope nerd from Helsinki, Finland. Ceci is a sexual counsellor and has been studying to be a sex therapist. She offers orientated talk-based therapy and counselling online, in Helsinki and in Berlin. Additionally, she does presentations and workshops on sex and sexuality.

Ceci is also an internationally Japanese Rope Bondage teacher in Helsinki. Her style shows the influence of the traditional Japanese style as well as contemporary western organic and artistic tying. She teaches top, bottom and switches perspective. She also likes to focus on elements of technique and communication rather than patterns and sequences. Her goal is to create safer spaces for people to communicate through rope, so she organizes events and gatherings to share her expertise as a community educator and to bring people together.

Ceci Ferox has participated as a performer in several events. Performances have always been part of Ceci’s rope practice, even before 2012 she was on stage participating in intimate rope sessions. For Ceci, the rope is a medium of meditation, empowerment, intimacy and sexy times, as well as about continuous learning and wonder, where performance allows to make visible interactions, to stretch the bubble and to move the audience into empathy and love for rope.

Ceci Ferox fluctuates between hyper-technical and chaotic tying but has a constant focus on connection and communication. Her tying is a product of the moment, created according to each particular situation and partner.
Ceci Gives workshops in which the content adapts to the students’ needs. Her workshops have different levels, from beginners to advanced practitioners, where you can learn the fundamentals and frictions of tying, getting started with bondage,  tying on the floor, suspension, chaotic suspension, hands-free suspensions, single column tie self suspensions, the bottoming journey, and much more.
