Agura Shibari Tie – the Principle

The Agura Shibari tie (Yukawaza) is a folded leg tie in which the person is in a folded-leg position in the style of a lotus flower. You achieve it by making a single column tie around the ankles and folded legs. The closeness of the ankles or legs depends on the flexibility of the tied person. Keeping this in mind, try and make it as comfortable as possible. The cuff must be fairly snug by not leaving excess room in the cuff.
