Hikari Kesho, has been a photographer since he was 10, when he got a camera as a gift. Thanks to his neverending research for new expressive methods, he found Shibari. Now, Shibari has become one of his favorite methods to work. With Shibari, he enjoys every part of the photoshoot. These include the preparation of the scene, the models, the bondage and the photoshoot. He became amazed with Shibari and the beautiful scenery you can create with it. Shibari, became the art that influenced his artistic technique, and which inspired his research for the past 15 years.
For Hikari, Shibari means geometric patterns and shapes that contrast beautifully with the natural curves and hollows of the female body, where the tight strings ant the texture provides a feeling of smoothness of the skin and the curves of the female body. The model is the canvas, and the rope plays the role of the paint and the brush, combined with beautifull models whose curves are pressed by the rope to create more pronounced shapes and shadows.
Thanks to his decades of experience and research, and the wide know-how obtained in all these years as a professional, with a 30 years experience, Hikari organizes different levels of workshops in photography and Shibari in his studio, here he tries to spread among the students the professionalism and enthusiasm which has distinguished him in all these years.
