Rope Marks, The Beauty of Bondage is a worldwide working Japanese Bondage, Shibari and Kinkbaku. It is in Amsterdam. Its founder is Bob, who started studying and specializing in professional Japanese rope bondage in 1999. While in Japan, he studied under the lineage of the late Akechi Denki and Nada Akira.

Rope Marks teaches traditional Japanese techniques. They have incredible masters, including Bob himself, who complement their teaching with their own and unique style of bondage. He is one of the leading Dutch specialist in Japanese rope bondage, and holds a very good reputation.

With Rope Marks, Bob has been teaching around the world Japanese rope bondage. He’s travelled from Europe to the USA and back to Japan. With RopeMarks Ryü, bob provides real, fun, hands-on courses, classes, lessons and workshops on Japanese rope bondage or Shibari. The rigger and the bottom, commonly known as a bunny, will learn techniques, patterns and positions to perform a safe and real Japanese bondage. Rope Marks believes the importance of understanding the reasons for what you are doing.
