RopeTales Kinbaku is a Challenge for your body and a Shiver for your mind. In Rope Tales by Kirigami you will find tuition, events, and performances about Bondage, Shibari and Kinbaku. You can also shop Italian and Japanese ropes.

Rope Tales was born at the end of 2016, where they decided to name the website Rope Tales. The goal was to tell a tale about the passion for each other as well as the passion for kinbaku. Rope Tales was founded by Kirigami and Tenshiko. Kirigami is an Italian educator, performer and kinbakushi who has performed in multiple European cities. It all began in 2011, when he met Tenshiko, with whom he shares the passion for ropes.

In 2016 Kirigami started organizing bondage classes in Milan through “The School of Rope” project, and after that, he also began preparing exclusive retreats as “Vigneti e Kinbaku”. Then he realized that he should build a place where all Rope Bondage passionate and practitioners in Italy could share their experiences and learn rope in a safe community. That’s when Rope Tales was born, in combination with the School of Rope in Milan.

Rope Tales believes that Kinbaku is communication, expressions on a face, a body moving, a hands movement and all combined can tell a story about the emotions experienced by the bottom. They believe that the rigger must listen in order to receive the tale as a gift.

Rope Tales wants to spread the passion on Kinbaku and show the beauty to all those who want to watch, learn, understand and practice. Rope Tales’ bondage inspiration is the style of Naka Akira Sensei. They choosed this philosophy for the beauty you can see in it and how deeply it touches the feelings and nurtures the passion.
