Shibari Suspension Basics

shibari news logo

In Shibari Suspension Basics, riggers will learn what is necessary to get started with Shibari suspensions:

Hardpoints and Suspension Equipment: Get to know the basics of hardpoint evaluation and installation and suspension point options for them.

Suspension Lines Attachment and Locking: Learn the intricacies of attaching and securely locking suspension lines from different parts of the body and harnesses.

Body Management: Understand the nuances of effective body management during Shibari suspensions.

We will apply the content by constructing some of the most classical shapes for partial and perhaps full suspensions.

Riggers should be able to tie any kind of Takate Kote or box tie in a reasonable time and have a basic understanding of body anatomy regarding nerve risks.

Models should be in good physical and mental shape and be aware of their own body limitations.
