Shibari Pendulum
Oh, dear! I begin to tremble just to remember. I’m not made for strong emotions. I don’t like fast cars, extreme sports, and roller coasters. If it was for me, I would be the most shameless couch potato you’d ever seen. That’s why when I became a Shibari pendulum, I thought I was the unluckiest person in the world.
Let me tell you the story. Leonard and I were celebrating our ninth anniversary. You must know that Leonard is fearless. Nothing scares him! Consequently, he enjoys fast cars, extreme sports, roller coasters, and Shibari. He’s a master with ropes! He always takes me to his exhibitions, but I have never participated in one of his scenes. I prefer him to hire a model, even a woman, to play bunny, instead of doing it myself.
However, he’s always wanted me to play bottom. So, as the most special anniversary gift, I decided to comply. I was very nervous about getting myself tied. But he explained every step to me, and he was very nice to me. So much, that he moved me, and I promised to do my best.
Anyway, he tied me up, and then, he lifted me above the ground, which he knows provides me with an exhilarating sensation. I was happy as can be, hanging two feet above from the floor, when, suddenly, an earthquake began. Here, I must explain that we live in San Francisco and the earth moves from time to time.
Back to the story, I began swinging from one side to the other, just like a pendulum. It was awful! Imagine, I couldn’t run. I couldn’t even move! Actually, I felt like a bag of disgrace. The only nice thing is that Leonard stood right by my side all through the earthquake. For me, that was a sweet proof that he will never leave me.
Eventually, the earthquake finished and Leonard untied me and hugged me for a long, long time. But I will never forget how I swinged from one side to the other of the room, like a Shibari pendulum.
This is my Shibari story.
