Andrea La Quarta Corda

Andrea is the rope artist known as La Quarta Corda. He performs and teaches throughout Europe. Moreover, he has been a guest in important events such as Shibari Show party, Moscow Knot, Shibari Dojo Warsaw, London Festival of Rope Art, BoundCon, Rome BDSM Conference, Bound, EURIX, Ecole Des Cordes, and many more.

Andrea trained with leading European and Japanese masters in traditional Japanese bondage. His style is based fully on communication through the ropes, which is based on the control of the tied person.

After years of study, he created his personal style, which is an original and innovative reworking of traditional style kinbaku. The result is a system which shows elegant structures and functional bindings.

Andrea, La Quarta Corda, lashed his new project in 2017, Nawame. It is the first web book on Japanese bondage. Additionally, it is a completely free resource that collects tutorials, videos and articles of the world of Kinbaku.

In la Quarta Corda, you will find private lessons and group courses, workshops. Likewise, they offer intensive weekends, rope jam, performance and shows, shooting and ghost rigging. Moreover, La Quarta Corda collaborates with photographers, directors, and models for films, short films and photoshoots.

In his performances, Andrea brings to the stage his way of living the strings. Consequently, the result is a refined but extremely profound performance. He normally performs in spaces dedicated to kinbaku. However, he has also participated in taboo conventions, theatres, clubs, gala dinners and private shows.
