Shibari House

Shibari Hose is the home of Shibari in Rome. Its founder is Beatrice Gigliuto, aka Red Lily. Shibari House comes from the background and innovative and future-oriented vision of Shibari and the culture related to it.

Beatrice Gigliuto, known as Red Lily is an expert in Shibari and BDSM, as well as an activist, and communicator. She is the creator of Shibari House and the artistic director of the famous Rome Bondage week. Her vision towards the future of Shibari points to personal growth and individual freedom.
Shibari House is located in a comfortable location in Rome. It has all the equipment for aerial disciplines. Additionally, it offers a program dedicated to well-being and self-discovery for three hundred and sixty adults.

Shibari House’s program includes bondage, yoga, meditation and dance in order to build an integrated path of self-care and physical and emotional experimentation which is suitable for personal evolution. It is also a home for the kinky, LGBT and queer community, which creates an anti-racist and anti-sexist place in which everyone will be free from any discrimination.

Shibari House gives sexuality and well-being courses and seminars, both online and live. Every class is based on some essential concepts like consent, in which every activity is governed by the explicit expression of consent and the slavish acceptance of it. Body positive, in which the only body you need to do Shibari, yoga or dance is simply yours. Integration, where there are no distinctions of gender, sex, race and religion.

Shibari House in Rome is open for lessons or weekly peer ropes on Thursday evening, which welcomes all styles, both at peer ropes and through the choice of course and masterclass teachers, in order to recognize the dignity of diversity.
