The Burning Mountain Festival is a 4-day magical festival experience in the heart of the Swiss Alps. The festival has a unique location above 1450 m over sea level and takes place in the middle of one of the highest inhabited valleys of Europe, the Engadine.

The Burning Mountain Festival has one of the most amazing DJ’S  line ups presenting year after year from all over the world, where you will be surrounded by artist, creative minds and people that share the same way of thinking as you do.

At the festival, you will find Shops of creators from all over the world as well as the finest food stands, which offers delicious meals, which also include vegan & vegetarian for everyone. The festival campsite is inside the festival. The festival tickets include access to it. You will also find, parking, cinema, workshops, art gallery, medical service, world-class decor and art installations, fire show and fireworks, and 4 entertainment areas.

The Burning Mountain Festival includes a Shibari Workshop, which is the traditional Japanese bondage art and means the “beauty of tight binding”. Shibari involves tying a person up using simple, but visually intricate patterns with hemp or jute ropes. In the workshop, you will discover a sacred meditative practice of holding space for the receiving person. However, once there is trust is among participants, BDSM elements can flow into the practice. Participants will learn specific knots to tie another person in an artistic way while saving a safe space for the receiver.

The workshops include basic anatomy knowledge as well as communication, boundaries and consent, which are the key to start a successful path through Shibari. The workshop is principally for beginners, but everyone is welcome. The workshop are open for all genders and sexual orientations.
