A Shibari Student
I like Mexico. I had traveled there at least a dozen times before, and I thought I knew it pretty well. Not just the beaches and the capitol, but also the small towns. They are very nice in their own, unique way. It was in one of these small towns that I decided to open a Shibari studio. A friend of mine had just opened a hotel, especially designed for romantic getaways. So, I thought that my studio would be the perfect complement. I had the studio, now I needed a Shibari student, or a dozen, or a hundred.
So, I withdrew all the money from my savings accounts. Then, I invested it all on buying a property and turning it into a first class Shibari studio. As I had expected, most of my customers were couples who had booked a room in my friend’s hotel. They wanted to add some extra spice to their romantic getaway.
However, one day, two local girls came to my office and asked for private lessons. They offered to pay more than I usually asked for, in exchange for having the classes on a very unusual schedule (very late at night). One of them wanted to train to become a rigger, and the other was going to play bottom. They showed me a video of a suspension, which was posted on the Internet. Then, they said that they wanted to replicate that scene. I told them that it was going to take several months, since suspension is the most difficult kind of Shibari scene. As an answer, they paid three months in advance.
The classes, even in their unusual time, went along very well. My students were very enthusiastic. At first, I thought they might be a lesbian couple who had had enough small-town-bullying, and that was the reason they wanted their lessons so late. However, I noticed that they were “gay for pay”, that is, that they were learning a sexy woman-woman scene in order to excite a man; that’s quite common, actually. I also noticed that money didn’t seem to be a problem. They bought ropes, scissors, and all kinds of tools. They even took me once to their house, which was a huge mansion, in order to tell an architect how to install a professional pulley system to do suspensions.
I also thought they were rich because you could tell they both had at least half a dozen surgeries on them. You know, lips, breasts, waist, and such.
It wasn’t until, one afternoon, after we had a couple of beers, my friend explained to me what a “buchona” was. It turns out that drug lords have women at their service, some sort of harem. And this particular boss happened to like Shibari. So, unaware of the fact, I had spent the last half a year teaching Shibari to the two favorite girls of a drug dealer. Talking about a Shibari student with an interesting background!
This is my Shibari story.
