Shibari Aftercare

It was wild. I really felt I could fly. I literally couldn’t feel my feet or my fingers. It was as if I were a cloud that could go through the air to faraway places. It’s not the first time I end up in subspace, but it’s always a memorable experience. You never get used to it. And if the Shibari aftercare is good, then it’s all perfect!

The minute after you’re back, however, is not so pleasant. You can’t talk, you can barely stand on your own feet, and you feel so dizzy that you think your head is a giant marble that is going to fall down on the floor and roll under the couch. That’s why aftercare is so important. And I know I can trust Andy about it. That’s a piece of advice I give you. Andy might not be the most spectacular top I have worked with. However, he’s the one who cares the most about his models. And, at the end of the day, I prefer working with him than with some arrogant idiot. Idiots don’t care abouth their bottom’s wellbeing.

Andy knows that aftercare is like coming back to the beach after spending an hour trying your strength with the mighty waves of the sea. He embraces me, without saying a word, and we stay like that for what seems like hours to me. No matter how busy he is, he always gives me top priority. It’s until I begin to speak again that he goes away and starts picking up the equipment he used in the scene.

Andy’s aftercare menu includes everything, from a quick cuddle to pillow talk. He also makes sure that we both rehydrate and have a bite. On the technical side, he checks for possible injuries. And we always spend at least ten minutes talking about our experience.

It’s funny, but sometimes I think I have lived something more intimate with Andy than with the people with whom I’ve had sex. Shibari aftercare can be that special. And it’s in no way the least important part of Shibari.

This is my Shibari story.
